My Sister's Inspiration

The beginning of my weight loss
My sister, Emily, has been doing an amazing job at working with Heavenly Father to lose weight. She is in control and changing her life. So.... why shouldn't I be doing the same thing? I want so badly to lose just 15 pounds. That shouldn’t be too hard. I haven’t been making time to be healthy, but lately since I am finishing my last two classes for my bachelor’s degree and not going to school FULL time I have a little more time for things I really want to do.
My sister, Catherine, introduced me to the “body bugg” a little over a year ago and I tried it then for about a month then gave up. I recently decided to start using it again so she lent me hers and signed me up for the online program. If you want to know more about it you can click HERE for information.
So lately I have been careful at preparing more healthy meals and trying to do more active things during the day. I am nowhere close to where I want to be, but I will get there. My husband is supportive and is willing to let me spend a little extra money on fresh and also low calorie foods when I do the grocery shopping.
I just hope I can follow my sisters example and involve the Lord in my diet plans. Please feel free to check out her blog to be inspired yourself!

ARIZONA!!

A few weeks ago Rick and I took a road trip with a friend from his mission and his wife to Arizona. One of their mission buddies was getting married. The three of them were Assistants together and now they have all gotten married and have been able to attend each other's weddings.

It was fun for us to drive down with Zacc and Carla. We laughed and slept and laughed some more. The weekend was full of wedding stuff, meeting new people, and trying new things. Rick and I have never had In-and-Out before and we got to try our first buger and shake from there. I also had Jack-in-the-Box for the first time too. We went to the temple and got to see the beautiful landscaping too. It was sunny and a great break from the Salt Lake City inversion.
