My Sister's 30th AND My Odd Brother

Let me explain. My brother is the only boy in our family of 6 kids. Okay, that doesn't explain his quirkiness. I think we are all just a little off. Andrew brought a bunch of his old ties from his mission to our monthly extended FHE at my parent's house this last Sunday. He thought my nieces and nephews would like them and could use them for whatever they wanted. Rick and my brother in law, Jason, got to them first and found some treasures before the ties turned into this: Andrew made a skirt and was twirling around in it and making all of us laugh. My niece put these crazy sunglasses on him which only made my brother even more crazy! See the video! LOL.

This evening was just full of randomness. My sister, Catherine, just turned 3o this week so my brother wanted to make her favorite... carrot cake. Well let's just say the pans didn't get greased properly and this is what dumped out!

She loved it all the same and it was still delicious!
