Yellowstone Trip 6/24-27

My brother, Andrew, joined Rick and I on our very first camping trip as a married couple and as a family! Levi did very well. He snuggled with us on our air mattress in our tent. He was so adorable and was a little adventurer. Andrew was a great help to us and kept us entertained with his witty comments and interesting stories. Warning: This post has quite a few pictures... and I am only posting 1/3 of the pictures we actually took.

Rick and Andrew picked me some flowers.... so pretty!I had never been to Montana so this was monumental!
We were stuck with the car turned off in traffic before entering Yellowstone. Levi was happy to get out of his car seat and play with dad.
Our first stop... some mud pots... fun to watch.
Old Faithful. Levi missed it cuz he was sleeping. Can you spot him? He is in the pack under Rick's rain jacket.
Our first night outdoors together. Levi was so stinking cute in his little monkey outfit with a not-so-matchy beanie!
THUGS! This is Drew and Levi just chillin' as we saw another geyser.
Norris Basin Geyser.
Crazy cool water. Look at that color!
Levi loved the pack... it gave him some extra protein to munch on. Hee hee.
We saw a grizzly bear. We also saw bison, a moose, a coyote, elk, deer, and a whole lot of mosquitoes.
This is a video of Lower Falls in Canyon Village. SO BREATHTAKING. That was the largest waterfall I have ever seen. GORGEOUS.
The shirt says it all. He sure could stop a lot of people. Everyone just wanted to smile and talk to him. He loved it.
Jenny Lake on our way down to Jackson.
And a quick stop in Jackson. He did some walking around and had a little lunch before heading home to good 'ol Salt Lake City.
I had a blast on my first trip to Yellowstone. I was happy to be home in my bed and enjoying the A.C.
