I also have felt an overwhelming gratitude for my knowledge of the gospel. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. He was called in these last days to bring the fullness of the teachings of Christ and His gospel back to the earth. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of God. That phrase is said a lot by members but there is no better way to say it. Jesus Christ lives and is my personal Savior and friend. I know that the people in the church are not perfect but as I (and all of us) strive to live the standards and principles that has been revealed through the prophets, we will achieve the happiest state we can while on this earth. It is as simple as that.
I invite YOU reading this, to make changes that will bring you closer to the Savior and what he would have you do. I also invite you to READ THE SCRIPTURES, ESPECIALLY THE BOOK OF MORMON! It is the word of God and truly has healing powers! We must avoid anything the would distract us from the simplicity of the gospel. Stick to the basics of prayer, scripture study, listening to the prophets in our day, and living the commandments. This is what will bring you true and LASTING happiness. This is my testimony. Simple as that.
Now... moving on.. I have a bunch of pictures from conference weekend. I'm sad I didn't get any pictures of Rick's reunion. We usually get a picture with the Adairs and the Whitworths because we always see them and they are special people to Rick and I. Well.. here are the pictures I did get. Enjoy!
The few of us the got to see the Cowards! I miss them so much. They were only in town for a week and were so busy with his schedule we didn't get to see much of them. But I soaked up the few moments we did spend talking and hugging.
This picture speaks for itself. Levi is sucking on a treat they brought from New Zealand. Its a chocolate bar called a Flake. It was yummy.
I miss them SO MUCH!
This is the Adair's little girl, Skylin. Sky for short. Levi and her liked playing together. Chelsie, Sky's mom, and I were so happy they could finally meet!
I miss them SO MUCH!
